UWM Scabbard and Blade Society records, 1958-1970.

Records of a University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee student organization. Consists of newspaper articles, photographs, and programs dealing with the organization. Several articles in the collection focus on the death of Scabbard and Blade member Lt. Terry Manz, who was killed in 1967 in South Vietnam. Also included are several photographs of Scabbard and Blade members at the Military Ball (1958, 1963-1964), photographs of the 1967 Awards Dinner and 1968 Pledge Night, and programs from the Military Ball (1967-1970). The programs provide a list of sponsors, commanding officers, and honored guests at the Military Ball.
